Who Can Apply
All nonprofit arts and cultural organizations incorporated under New York State law and certified tax exempt under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) are eligible to apply as a Lead Applicant. In addition, Lead Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Be a NYSCA grantee in good standing.
• Partner with an appropriate Primary Tourism Partner and provide details regarding its duties.
• Attendance at at least one Cultural Tourism Workshop is strongly encouraged.
• Previous years’ grantees may apply toward a previously funded Cultural Tourism Initiative project or with a new proposal. 

Ineligible Applicants

• Nonprofit tourism organizations, government agencies and for-profit organizations are not eligible to apply; however they may partner with another eligible organization as the Lead Applicant.
• Organizations currently receiving other NYSCA funding for the same project.
