Michael C. Savino
Founder/President, Headline Communications, Inc., Patchogue, New York

Michael Savino is Founder/President of Headline Communications, Inc. a marketing and communications firm offering assistance in marketing, public relations, and print, electronic and digital media production. 

Mr. Savino possesses 25 years of marketing, public relations and journalism experience. He has served as Director of Marketing and Communications for the NY Hall of Science, Public Affairs Manager at the NY Aquarium, Public Relations Officer at Manhattan Community College, Communications Director at the US Department of Education’s Drug-Free Schools and Communities program, and Public Information Officer at the Syosset Central School District. Michael began his career as a journalist, working for weekly and daily newspapers in New York and Ohio. 

Mr. Savino has conducted numerous media relations, crisis communications and community outreach seminars and workshops. An adjunct journalism professor at Dowling College, he has over 1,000 reporting and photography credits for weekly and daily newspapers and trade publications. Mr. Savino has an undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Dayton and a graduate degree in communications from the New York Institute of Technology.
