Your Organization's Financial Statements and the Stories They Tell
September 28, 2011
The Foundation Center
9:30 AM—12:00 PM
Speaker(s):
A nonprofit's financial information can be a critical measure of financial capacity, and this renders it a key element in funders' grantmaking considerations. This program will help nonprofits understand what stories their financial statements (budgets, Forms 990, and audited financial statements) communicate about their organizations.
The discussion will focus on how best to use these statements effectively as management tools. Participants are encouraged to bring a copy of their own statements for the discussion and feedback.
This workshop is a collaboration with Arts & Business Council of New York and The Foundation Center.
This event is free, but an R.S.V.P. is required. For more information, and to reserve your seat, please visit The Foundation Center website.
